Happy Holidays! Xatu has been baking up a storm -- it just isn't Christmas without a wealth of super-fattening food. It took him more willpower to keep from sampling the goodies than anything else, but on the plus side he probably got Lash or Guy or Scyther or Snake howdy neighbour to lick the bowl with every batch of goodies he made. There's mince tarts, shortbread cookies, gingerbread men, coffee almond balls, snickerdoodles, sugar cookies in generic holiday shapes, and peanut butter cookies. Each of his students gets a little goodie bag of treats, and there's a small one for Birdo and Snake too because love your neighbour.
In addition to fattening baked goods, some super-special people get extra gifts:
Lash: A stack of Harlequin romance novels. Atlanta Nights, The Lone Valentine, A Whisper in the Night, Cowboy Businessman, and The Samoan Deputy Undersecretary for Homeland Security's Buxom Wet Nurse. She has to learn about romance from a source other than Kumatora and Goose, or god help the poor girl.
Ho-oh: Xatu stood outside his window and sparkled for an hour. Rolling papers. Xatu wouldn't know if Ho-oh rolls his own cigarettes, but there's a pretty good chance he rolls something smokable.
Lugia: Xatu thought it might be nice to introduce Lugia to some of his favourite mystery novels. He finds them an excellent way to keep his mind off things, and Lugia sort of looks like he'd appreciate something like that.
Siren: Xatu doesn't know many of the Band of the Hawke members all that well yet, but he's especially unfamiliar with you, Siren. Since you seem to have some difficulty with making personal things private on your online journal, he's given you a blank diary.
Guy: His treat bag is extra big. Extra extra big.
Scyther: An incredibly dorky eyesore of a Christmas sweater.
