1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? Cut myself off from people that betrayed me...Got rid of the need for everyone to like me...It's not going to fucking happen
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't even remember what they were, but I promised to try to be a better person and I am succeeding in that.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? - Nope, not this year
4. Did anyone close to you die? - No, but someone close to one of my friends did, and I felt some of the pain of that.
5. What countries did you visit? - Whole lotta nowhere...maybe this year
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? - A better job, a better car and a better body....in that order
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? None that specific....There was The Gathering, Memorial Day weekend, My Birthday weekend and the Beach party...New Year's was pretty darn cool too.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Stopped trying to please everyone...joined a gym, got a kitty
9. What was your biggest failure? Not losing weight, but hell...it's an uphill battle
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I broke a toe, but didn't get super sick
11. What was the best thing you bought? For someone else...a Tent for Mike, myself all of my SCA clothing for the year.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? I would have to give that to both Noel and Lonna...they are both dealing with some serious emotional turmoil and even though the results are different, I am proud of both of them for the decisions they have made, the struggles they have overcome, and the grace they are showing dealing with the entire scenario
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Two friends who made the decision to hurt me and spread rumors about my life without coming to me first, regardless of whether or not the rumors were true. Part of it was, but they didn't even try to get the whole story before sharing it with people it had nothing to do with.
14. Where did most of your money go? Bills and ebay.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Every fight Mike fought, every group party and Finding a couple of old friends.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006? "Saving Me" Nickelback

i. happier or sadder? WAY Happier.

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006: Stop taking life so seriously, that people are just people and no one is perfect, that not everyone is going to like me, no matter what I do or say, so stop putting so much stock into what other people think...The only life I can live is my own.
46. What are your plans for 2007? To be more open, to open my arms, my mind and my heart so much more...even if it means I have to get hurt more....there is good and bad and you can't take out the good,just to avoid the bad...I want to face and experience all of it.
