I was under the impression you disapproved of property damage and... mm, explosions, as it were.

I don't think anyone owns the rocks I'm blasting. And if I don't work off some of my anger... I feel like I'm about to explode.

Ah. I can sympathise. Well, to be honest, I actually can't, but that's neither here not there. Problems with lying?

They all think they're protecting me, but they're just lying to cover themselves. My family, other people I thought were helping me, they all just keep lying to me.

Oh, sometimes it seems people lie most to the ones they love, I really wouldn't know though. But I'm a doctor, lying to the people I help is pretty much what I do.

What would have happened if they hadn't lied, then?

You'd think so, wouldn't you, and yet.

Forgive me for extrapolating from the little information I have, I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm sure. The... rather volatile situation you described to me doesn't seem to be something that would have been helped by, mm. More explosions, if your reaction now is anything to go by.

Maybe that's the benefit I get from being a hospice nurse. Most of my patients have already gotten the worst news they're going to get.

If I had been told about it up front I wouldn't be nearly as upset now. And I wouldn't have been able to be so literally explosive then.
