My alter-ego has found a new home

I've posted about roleplaying games eight times on LJ since I figured out how to use tags. I've been posting on a gaming design forum, The Forge, about ideas; you can look me up under the handle "Abkajud". Don't ask - I came up with it in middle school. Actually, you can also find my older, forgot-the-password-for-it account there, which was called "Bob the Fighter". That name actually comes about from text in the 1991-ish version of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, in which the writer points out that precious little can distinguish Bob the Fighter and Fred the Fighter in ability. I have no recollection whatsoever what the guy's point was, but it made me think of the Squire class from Final Fantasy Tactics and the Fighter character from the online sprite comic, 8-Bit Theatre. Wow, the level of coverage from Wikipedia on this stuff is a little odd.

Anyway, for those of you who are into this sort of thing, I'll be posting about the game, and about RPGs in general, at my new blogspot page. It occurs to me to cross-post my LJ entries that deal with roleplaying games on this site, but we'll see if that happens or not.
