(no subject)
After having left work early, I just returned from my dentist (first of all, it's great I got to keep him after the insurance switch) having found out that my new benefits cover the work that I need to be done 100%. Nothing out of pocket. Aaayyyy-men.
I come back to work, afterhours, and sit down to turn on my Launchcast to the glorious, synthesizer-soaked and Peartlicious introduction of Tom Sawyer (I talk about Rush too much).
This is a fantastic way to start end the day, but it's going to be one bitch of a week up until the 28th*.
*this is because this weekend marks the culmination of two solid months of work for a HUGE university event for which I've been the interim decision maker "This is your show," I hear quite often, despite the fact that most of the work was done before I got there. Afterwards, I am going to take a couple of days and go somewhere cheap. Maybe by train, but decidedly so by myself.
