Update!
Geez...I am sorry, I haven't updated in a good long while.
Well first, I reached my goal of seeing over 200 new to me movies this year! Most of which were short films, but still.
I've also read 10 new to me books this year as well. :)
Been getting into waaaay too many tv shows as well. Mostly thanks to NetFlix and illegal uploads on tv show websites. lol
Today's my birthday and I got my b-day money early. I've spent all of it on movies and a couple toys.
The movies I bought:
- Drag Me to Hell (Blu-Ray)
- The Film Crew Presents: The Giant of Marathon
- The Film Crew Presents: The Wild Women of Wongo
- Friday the 13th 1-4 in one box
- Singin' in the Rain (Blu-Ray)
- Nightmare on Elm Street 2 & 3 (Blu-Ray)
- The Red Shoes (Blu-Ray)
The Film Crew was a thing the guys from MST3K (Mike, Kevin and Bill) did before RiffTrax.
And the toys I bought are a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Rainbow Dash action figure and a Riff Raff (from Rocky Horror) action figure. The later was used from Goodwill, but never opened till I took it home. XD It's almost Halloween, I felt I had to display him. ^_^
Tonight, for my birthday, I am seeing The Birds on the big screen. I can't wait. Love this movie, and it'll be interesting to see what it looks like on the big screen.
Last month, I went and saw RiffTrax Live where they riffed into Manos: the Hands of Fate. That was a lot of fun. I am going again in October when they re-riff into Birdemic: Shock and Terror! I can't wait.
I am so ready for Halloween. Plus I have new horror movies in my collection for the occasion.
