Random Entry: Now with ACTUAL FEELINGS!

I don't have that same loathing for snow that people my age are starting to develop and adults have already. I still find it peaceful and soothing. Despite the digging and frustration that ensues after, I find that it's a reminder in our urban, technological world that we're subject to the whims of mother nature. People call the city of Dover in frustration that their roads and driveways haven't been plowed. They can't get to where they want to be. Now, I understand that in some cases that's where they need to be--essential personnel and medical employees. However, the rest of us need to chill sometimes. When I look outside at the big falling flakes I imagine that I'm in "Little House in the Big Woods." They couldn't go anywhere. They never had the instant gratification that we have. I like that with snowy days we can take in the glorious, beautiful contemplative time snow provides.
