Yesterday, was my last officially "the only ones I care about" exam. I'm now over and done with all of em. Of course, as everyone has already said millions of time over, the only thing left is Key Skills, and thats nothing to be freting about. So... let me just take a few seconds to say... WOOOOO! Last Physics ever!!! And I'm so freaking glad I'm out of it all - to be honest, right now, I don't care whether I did well or not, because I'm just so glad to be over and done with it. In fact, when I first came out of the exam, I was so over-the-moon that I went and did the unforgivable (AGAIN!)... and left my phone. I went down to the busstop, paid my overly-expensive £1.20, and then after three stops, I finally realised... GAH! So, I had to get off, and run all the way back (and the bus had got quite far) and up to the exam hall, knock, get my phone, and then leave again. Gerr. Fortunately, I still managed to get the bus into town, and then the bus to my town, and then the bus to my village, and I was home for about 1, which was quite impressive for me, considering all the muckups. Anyway, next few days are going to be pretty laidback, what with nothing but Key Skills on Tuesday (which gives me an excuse to go into town to grab the new Foo Fighters album which comes out Monday). Yesterday, I got tired at the particularly early 10pm, and fell off to sleep, probably because of all the exams and the travelling. Today, I celebrated the end of exams... by spending two hours cleaning my room. Gorramit, why the hell did I do that? Well, at least everything smells like polish now. Even the DVDs (and I'm damn well sure I didn't polish them!!) But heck, the floor is clear, the bed is made, the desks aren't covered in crap, and I finally gave up on my crappy printer, and put it up in the attick, which now means there is a nice clean space for my modem when it comes. (Perhaps I was clearing my room to welcome the new hardware? Hmmm.... stupid subconcious.) My windowsill is clear, and shiny... and quite slippery too now, I notice. I sat on it earlier, looking out, and almost fell right off again. The only dusty thing left are the blades of my fan, which I'll take out into the garden tomorrow and give a wipe down.
Anyway, not long til my driving test, but I had a rather good lesson today, which involved lots of praise from my instructor, so I'm on my morale high, right now. We decided I'm going to go to Buxton on Friday for three hours too, so I can get used to it, since I've never been there, but all the maneuvers I've been doing have mainly been simulated to be like Buxton's examples (ie, doing lots on hills and such) But I had a really bad twitching left leg, which wasn't very good, but I still managed to keep under control.. phew!
I've got a couple more DVDs to watch before I'm out again, but it shouldn't matter, as it wont be long before I'm paid, and as it turns out, I've been doing a whole crapload more than was originally expected. I want to get the money soon, because I'm currently in debt to my brother for both my part in my mum's present, and my new modem (which I'm going to call Vera, when she comes). And I want to get those X-Files DVDs!!! Well, it smells like jacket potatoes are almost ready... so, I'll be off.
PS: Yes, I'm overusing the Jayne icon. But oh well, a Jayne icon is needed when we're discussing Vera and other Veras.
