So, finished my networks exam, which was a nice relief. Wasn't all that bad in the end, but I'm ever so glad for that revision crunching session I spent the last few days doing solidly.

"Hello gentlemen!"

Chapter the Xth: Tightening loose knots

He knew this would be the worst part. It always would be, always will be. But it had to be done, and it couldn't wait any longer; he'd already been deliberating over it for several hours now. It was quite fortunate that she was a chronic sleeper - it definitely helped in the overall matter. But the time had come when it was needed to wake her from the slumber she possessed, before it was too late and the sun rose. Because then people, the collective people, not just a group of people, would start asking questions. He nudged her side. Oh, how he felt awkward doing this.

Her eyes began to open, and slowly she arose. He noticed her eyes slowly widening. Except they weren't stopping, and this was what he was fearing - wide eyes. And, inevitably, she screamed.
"Who the hell are you!? What are you doing in my house!? Oh my god! What's going on here!?!"
"Unh... please, please, calm down just a minute..."
"Who the hell *are* you?! What are you doing in my house!?"
"Listen, Juliet, I'll explain, just.. calm down please!" he whimpered timidly.
"Who *the* hell are you!?" Emphasis was being thrown all over the place by this point, in the midst of the confusion.
"You don't know me, but I know you..."
"Who the hell are you!?"
"Alright, calm down, my name's..."
"Who in hell are you!? Why are you-- what are you?!" By this point, she was out of the bed, and reaching for anything to throw towards her supposed assailant. She found her jewelry box on the bedside cabinet and grasped it firmly.
"It's about David" The jewelry box had already left her hand and was hurtling towards his head. Hearing that name though, she already felt guilty before it's unavoidable impact. Whack. He fell straight to floor, certainly faster than anyone could have expected. Least not the watch, who collided with the ground first. But the rest of his body came quickly after too.

She didn't wait for him to get his bearings or even stand up from his fall.
"Why do you know that name?" she asked, quizically.
"The question is, why do you?"

Hah, a chapter title! And another character! Didn't see that one coming, did you, banana-man!? Thank you, and good night!

Oh, by the way? BEST. GOATS. EVER!
