710: Thank the gods

We keep seem to be having power cuts over here this morning. First one earlier this morning, turned off everything in the house, then in the distance I heard about five different alarms going off. I was kinda scared that ours was going to go off too. Well, we just had yet another one, and once power returned and I came back to my computer, it turned out it had wiped one of the most important files in my website work of the face of the Earth. A bit of panic there, then I decided I'd do what saved my Physics coursework - use Google Desktop and search for any caches. Except it doesn't seem to cache PHP files :( Then, just as I was giving up hope and resorting to coding it again, which would set me back maybe almost even a day, I found a new option in Eclipse, called "Replace With". I looked into it, and it had a suboption... "... Previous Version"! Lo and behold, it seems this fabulous piece of software has been saving previous versions everytime I make a new change and save! And not only that, it allows me to compare the versions I had with limitless previous versions of the code, and I didn't even know it did that! Oh boy am I glad I decided to switch to using Eclipse for this project! Its saved me one hell of a boring day of re-coding and working out what I've already done! Phew!! *big sigh of relief*
