Yesterday was quite fun - went bowling with people (and I, as Steeeeeeeve lost quite miserably), and then to Pizza Hut for too much pizza and coke than I could handle (I had 5 slices, K-MAN had 14... sheesh!) and then around to Toys 'R' Us, which was scary. Fran put some scratchy er... thing around my neck. And we were also completely scared when a fan on the ceiling went off really loud. And then we hugged some Pooh. (Heheh)
wormlover bought Singstar Rocks, and me, Fran and I played that almost as soon as we got home, about 5, and before we knew it, it was 8:30. I didn't do quite as bad, Fran kept me on my toes, and unfortunately she most often won me, but only by very close. Dave was good, well, he was good at Teenage Kicks! (I think that fast became his favourite) But after several hours of that, throats were sore, and stomachs were hungry, and Fran graciously offered to let me stay at her house. And by her house, I do actually mean Dave's house, but apparently she's taken it over now. And we had jacket potatoes with cheese and jaffa cakes. I tried to play some more of Resident Evil 4, but got too scared in the castle :( At almost midnight, we set off back to Sheffield so Fran could get some more clothes and to drop off Ellie's leavers book and so I could have a drive. We got back to Daves at midnight, and I got home about quarter to one, fortunately when noone was up. The worst joke of the day award goes to me: When Fran got a gutter ball, I said "Oh, I guess this means you're 'gutted', ey?" Oh my, was that one poor. Fortunately, not many people were around to hear. Scarily, Luke Lewis and... *shudder* were there Bowling, but I didnt make contact with them, thank the heavens. Oh, you know what I forgot? Dave and Fran attempted to drive. Dave reversed of the drive and all the way down to Roman Road, about a mile away from his house. Everyone in the car was incredibly scared. After we got so far, I turned the car around and drove us back to Dave's house where Fran attempted to go down the drive. And did quite well, apart from a couple of stallings (Which were my fault really because she didn't know how to stop) I did a bit of revision and stuff, but haven't gotten on with work, and I also watched about 30 more minutes of Star Wars (I'm ever-so-slowly going through the prequel episodes) The car was repaired today, and the guy who did it did a brilliant job, can't even see anything now, and it cost a lot less than I thought at only £100. In other news, my cordless mouse still wont work, and I need a paintbrush to fix it. Oh yes, you heard me. Hmm.... anyway. Yup. *sigh* That's life to the point.
