Team Mercenary Nationals Day 1 Update
Day 1 went exactly as scripted for Team Mercenary. We lived up to everyones expectations going 2-0 in our first two games. We annihilated Pittsburghs RPM team 7-0 with a huge shut out win while completely dominating the entire game. We then made short work of Ottawa's Gamblers defeating them 6-1.
While the victories were sweet, the highlight of the day happened on the way back from dinner. Team psycho, Fuji, decided he was diving into the pond naked in front of our hotel in the freezing cold and snow. We stopped and Fuji jumped out, stripped, then bolted about 50 yards down to the pond buck ass naked. We all were laughing our asses as his stupid ass slipped about 2 feet short of the pond and took a header into the freezing cold water. That's when I told everyone to jump back into the van and grab Fuji's clothes. I don't know how, but that crazy fucker ran up the hill and 50 yards back to the van in all of 15 seconds. Unfortunately he was too late. I slammed on the gas pedal with Ante almost falling out of the van as we sped off with the two side doors slamming against the side of the vehicle. We were all pissing ourselves laughing as we watched Fuji running behind us buck naked, soaking wet, in the cold up the long driveway of the hotel. HAHA GODLY!
Tommorrow morning we play the NY Doughboys at 9:55am in our final game of the preliminary round and find out where we seed. Rumor has it right now that we're tied for first. Go Team Mercenary!
