Feb 16, 2010 01:29

Ok, so here are three stories I wrote as prompts a while ago, there's all RPF (REAL PEOPLE FICTION) so please take that as your warning ok? If it's not your cup of tea, just skip it yeah? Also, please accept my apology in the fact that I am not one of the better RPF writers out there, but damnit I gave it a shot! Of course it's all for Glee!

Title: Hey Jealousy
Disclaimer: I don't own em, these are real people folks.
Rating: PG-ish really Just a kiss.
Warnings: Slash
Word count: 1087
Summary: Mark's Jealous
A/N: Written for a prompt over at Glee Kink I believe it was for Merle P though!

Mark wasn’t sure just why he was so annoyed at what he was seeing. At first, he thought that it was just because Chris was so young, and he just felt protective of him. Something about how Chris was smiling that adorable shy smile at a virtual stranger was driving him absolutely crazy though. For the life of him he couldn’t figure out just why it was bothering him so damn much to watch his younger castmate carry on the conversation across the room.

Cory realized Mark had stopped listening to him and just begun to say random things in an attempt to bring his friends attention back around. “So then, the underpants gnomes came around and stole my last clean pair of underwear!”

“Uh huh,” Mark grunted before blinking and turning and facing Cory. “Wait, what did you say?” Cory watched in amusement before shaking his head.

“Dude, you’re glaring at that guy talking to Chris so hard I’m surprised he hasn’t burst into flames. What gives man?” Mark shifted uncomfortably, and almost denied it. He really couldn’t though; he had been glaring at the douchebag who was still chatting away. He shrugged and tried not to look back over there, though it was tough.

“I dunno man; I’m just keeping an eye on him ya know? He’s young, and I just don’t want him getting hurt.” Mark answered and Cory almost took it at face value. Almost. They all looked out for Chris, whether he liked it or not. He was the baby, so they all tended to keep an eye on him when they went out. It was usually Lea or Amber who played the over protective role however.

“He seems fine.” Cory finally replied, watching as another shy smile appeared on Chris’ face. Mark stiffened when the nameless jerk put his arm across the bar so it rested behind their friends back. He thought it was way to handsy, even though he wasn’t actually touching Chris. The expression on his face must have given his thoughts away because Cory spoke again. “You’re jealous.” He stated in surprise.

“What?” Mark scoffed shaking his head at the very idea. “That’s ridiculous why would I be jealous?”

“Because Chris is over there with him instead of over here with you.” Cory said softly and damn it all to hell that he wasn’t stupid like Finn. Mark wanted to protest, insist that he wasn’t jealous and it certainly wasn’t because Chris was talking to some nameless guy. He couldn’t seem to form a protest that didn’t sound really weak though, and he sighed, standing up rather abruptly.

“Well I’m gonna go talk to him.” And before Cory could stop him, Mark was weaving his way through the crowd, and he could only hope this wouldn’t burst into some kind of embarrassing scene. He doubted Chris would look too kindly on Mark humiliating him, inadvertently or not.

Chris turned when Mark sidled up next to him and gave him a smile before motioning to the guy who had dropped his arm once Mark arrived.

“Mark this is Tony, Tony Mark.” Chris introduced, and the two attempted to stare each other down. Chris didn’t miss this and turned to Mark raising an eyebrow. “What’s going on?” He questioned and Mark made a rather impromptu decision.

“I was just heading out to get some fresh air and was hoping you‘d come keep me company.” He said quickly, hoping that Chris would decide to come with him. Chris looked surprised for a moment, and Mark took advantage of that. “Please?” He added. Chris nodded then and turned back to Tony and smiled.

“It was really nice talking to you Tony.” He said, and Mark felt his ire rise when Tony hugged Chris before shoving a napkin into his hand. His phone number, and while Chris seemed a little embarrassed by it, he didn’t refuse it either. “Are you ready?” He asked and Mark nodded shooting a rather triumphant look over Chris’ head towards Tony who was watching them go with rather angry eyes. He grasped Chris by his wrist and hauled them through the crowd, until they were outside and Chris was looking rather bewildered. Once they were a few feet away from the club Mark dropped his wrist and put his own arm around Chris’ shoulders and tugged him to him.

“Are you alright?” He asked and Chris gave him that same bewildered look.

“I think I should be asking you that.” He said, rubbing his wrist a little. Mark sighed and tightened his hold.

“I’m just looking out for you, that guy looked shady.” Chris rolled his eyes and pulled free, stepping a couple steps away from him.

“Contrary to what you all seem to think, I am perfectly capable of looking out for myself and don’t need you riding in on your white horse to rescue me every time you deem something a threat.” Chris said in exasperation and Mark shook his head.

“Jesus Chris, that guy was all over you.” And then Chris shook his head as if Mark had been wrong, and it made him bristle. He was looking out for the kid who didn’t know anything; he knows exactly what that creep was thinking about.

“I think you’re jealous.” Chris said and Mark expects the eye roll that accompanies the statement. Chris crossed his arms over his chest and watched Mark intently. Mark advanced on him so suddenly that Chris found himself backed up against the brick wall, suddenly a little afraid of his larger castmate. Mark put his hands on either side of Chris’s head before leaning down and giving him a kiss that clearly caught the smaller of the two off guard.

“Your right, I am.” He admitted when he pulls away and Chris was sporting that bewildered look again.

“But…why?” He finally asks, and Mark is suddenly reminded that he had Chris pinned up against the wall, so he backs off a step or two.

“I’ve made such a fuss about our age difference,” Mark begins rubbing his hand across the back of his neck and Chris seems to get it then.

“Are you serious?” He asks a vaguely surprised look on his face. At Mark’s sheepish nod Chris can’t help but laugh, taking Mark’s hand in his own. Its then that Mark realizes that Chris is willing to give it a shot, and he can’t help but smile.

“But we’re going to have to talk about this white knight crap.”

Title: Defying Gravity
Disclaimer: I don't own em, these are real people folks.
Rating: G really
Warnings: None
Word count: 500
Summary: Lea has a talk with Chris about the song Defying Gravity
A/N: Another Prompt, over at Glee Fluff if memory serves.

Lea had been excited at first when she found out they’d be doing Defying Gravity. She had overheard Chris telling Ryan about it, and he must have liked it because there it was in the script. However she wasn’t as happy as she should be. She was going to get to sing a really wonderful song and somehow she felt like it was once again, being denied to Chris, like she was taking it away from him. She decided she needed to talk to Chris, if he was upset about it, well then she was going to talk to Ryan. While she had to admit she liked that Kurt would give up the role for his father, she wasn’t really thinking about Kurt, she was thinking about Chris not getting something he wanted, yet again.

She found him in his trailer, sitting on his sofa, with his feet up on the coffee table. His script was sitting in his lap and he grinned at her when she joined him on the sofa. She smiled back settling down some, and draping her arm across his shoulders in a half hug. They remained that way for a while before she let her head drift down to rest on his shoulder.

“I’m sorry.” She said finally, and her head moved when Chris started. He looked down at her, seeing only her hair at first looking and feeling completely bewildered about what exactly it was she was apologizing for, he couldn’t remember her doing anything that offended him lately.

“What?” He finally got out, not sounding as well spoken as everyone knew he could be. It’s quiet for a few moments before Lea sighed and sat up, but she didn’t remove her arm.

“About the song, I heard what you were telling Ryan about it. You should sing it.” It takes Chris a few moments before his brain catches up with what’s going on and he can’t help but grin and shake his head slightly. The cast could be so ridiculous sometimes; watching out for him like the slightest little thing could send him to pieces.

“Lea,” He begins and she can’t help but smile back slightly at his tone. “That’s not a big deal, yeah I mean it sucked in high school, but hell I’m gonna get to sing it on TV, so what if Kurt doesn’t get the part, I still get to sing it.” And Lea really hadn’t thought about it like that. All she had really thought about was Chris once again being made to feel badly about being different. She leaned over and kissed the side of his face before pulling back.

“You really are something else, you know that?” she said with a smile.

“Yes, well obviously, besides Rachel’s the star, of course she would get it.” He replies in his disdainful Kurt voice. She can’t help but giggle and whacks him with one of the pillows from the sofa; it soon becomes an all out pillow fight.

Title: Breakup
Disclaimer: I don't own em, these are real people folks.
Rating: PG or so
Warnings: Slight implications of phone harassment.
Word count: 657
Summary: Chris breaks up with his boyfriend, the others of course react.
A/N: Yet another prompt!

When Chris came to the set looking like he hadn’t slept and chucked his cell phone into his trailer the others exchanged concerned looks behind his back. Chris normally tried to keep his cell phone on him in case his family ever needed to reach him, this was unusual behavior and in several minds, cause for alarm. He was pleasant as he always was, if not a little quieter than usual, but the others were worried nonetheless. The girls pay him closer attention than usual and Mark and Cory keep playing up how buddy-buddy they are with him.

He finally comes clean to Kevin who is the only one who hasn’t been hovering over him all day when their alone in Chris’ trailer. Kevin was surprised, because honestly no one in the cast had even known Chris had been seeing anyone. Chris went on to explain that the break up had not only been messy, but his ex was calling him constantly since, the voicemails alternating between aggressive threats and pathetic crying. When Kevin flips open his younger castmates cell phone, he sees that there’s over twenty new voicemails and he winces because yeah this could turn out to be even messier than it is now.

“What happened?” He asks curiously, because part of him is wondering why Chris never told them that he was seeing someone.

“It just wasn’t working out.” It’s a blanket statement, and Kevin is even more curious now because Chris isn’t usually evasive with them. He leaves it at that though, because he doesn’t like to push. He doesn’t mean to let it slip to Heather when he’s talking to her at the craft table, but the next thing he knows, everyone knows about it.

Lea and Naya are ready with hugs and promises of movie nights and ice cream if he wants them, and assuring him his ex must be an ass. Chris shoots a slightly betrayed look towards Kevin, who can only glance apologetically back. Amber and Jenna are armed with stories of their own most recent breakups, peppered up with some humor in an attempt to make Chris laugh, and Heather comes with an apology for letting the information leak out into the cast but she was just worried about him.

Cory offers to beat the guy up for Chris, and Mark offers to help. For a moment, Chris actually looks to be thinking it over before giving them that shy grin and shaking his head in the negative, but thanking them anyway. Cory nods and loops an arm around Chris’ neck pulling him against his broad chest and chatting on about every day stuff, something that Chris seems to appreciate. Mark plays along, but they both watch Chris when he leaves, taking up their own personal guard, whether Chris wanted them to or not.

Kevin finally gets Chris alone again while their on a break and hanging out in Chris’ trailer again. He apologizes for telling Heather, because he really hadn‘t meant the entire cast to be let in on what Chris told him. Chris just nods, like it isn’t really that big of a deal and Kevin can see how tired he looks and it suddenly occurs to him that he might just know what would make Chris feel better.

“How about I make it up to you.” Kevin offers grinning. “I’ll keep the rest of the cast at bay and you go take a nap, cause dude you look wiped.”

“That sounds….awesome actually.” Chris responds with that honest grin he has and Kevin stands, clapping his hand on Chris shoulder and smiling.

“Consider it done.” Chris thanks him and Kevin proceeds to run interference with the rest of the cast until the end of the day, because really all things considered, sometimes after a breakup the last thing you needed was your hyper vigilant pseudo family planning out how to extract painful revenge on your ex.
