Hoping to either get Acid Queen or Mrs. Walker. Not being able to read music will hurt, but the fact that I already know every word should help. I'd be happy ending up in the Ensemble. But if they decide not to go with me, then hey, at least I can say I auditioned for Tommy.
The odds are definitely against me. I'm overweight, I've never acted, I can't read sheet music, and my dancing is questionable at best.
But!
I already know all the lyrics. I know Tommy well enough in any part to be able to emote and make it my own. My singing is good given some practice and calming of nerves. I can pick up any song just by watching someone play it a few times.
So maybe I can get a part.
I've got the next 10 days to prepare my audition. That, and school, and selling my crap, and moving and.... ugh. Considering I'm not working I sure am busy.
