Shakin' in my boots
Experienced my first earthquake last night! It was a 5.6, and over before I even realized what it was. I was backing into my carport space and the car shook to where I thought there might be something wrong with the car or I hit something, but no, just an earthquake. Poor little kitties were FREAKED OUT when I got inside, Zap hiding under the dresser that he's too big to hide under and Tuxedo Mask hiding under the bed. I had to get on my hands and knees and drag 'em out by the scruff before they curled up into little balls and passed out on my lap, breathing heavy and purring loudly.
Exciting.
In other news, I decided to procrastinate on the dishes even further by building my cats a cardboard box condo with four levels. They're dubious so far. I'm hoping to get my glue gun and glue some fabric on there so it doesn't look like four cardboard boxes duct taped together randomly sitting in my living room.
