Got a call this morning from Officeteam just as I'd gotten into work.
"Err we've been trying to contact you since yesterday," what crap! I never saw ANY missed calls on my phone. "They decided to replace you today, which means yesterday was supposed to be your last day; don't worry, we'll take care of your time sheet and pay you for four hours today for going out there. Don't say bye to anybody, just get out as quickly as possible."
Snap!
But yet, I didn't care. I'M OUT OF THERE, THANK FUCKING GOD.
[update: Got a call from Officeteam a wee bit ago, and apparently I was fired for using the internet. NO regard for me saying I want to be placed somewhere else, NONE. No regard for MY side of the story. They then went on to say they were more hesitant to place me now, so they wanted to keep it to short term assignments. I'm going to be giving the Santa Clara office a piece of my mind very soon.]
Oh, and I'm coming to Austin next week for a few days. Now that I don't have a job, I can stay a little longer :) Wednesday to Sunday.
