I got 'em!
I got the kittens! Pictures are up on the flickr site :) Not only that, but I'm taking care of the third kitten in the litter right now until the family that's going to take it is ready. So, that means I have a big gigantic pile of kittens! Oh it's awesome. They're incredibly well behaved, they always use the cat box, and holy crap the cuteness is too much.
So yeah, my weekend has been really nice. Snuggling with boyfriend and kittens is a nice combination. Also, I went to my first farmer's market out here today! It was great! It felt good to shop locally and get some friggin' awesome produce and other delights.
Not really looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. First full week back and I'd way rather be sleeping in, cuz 8-5 SUCKS. I've never had to go so early before. Thank god I live close-ish to work (9 miles from my place in SJ, 6 from Rob's), or else I'd be really depressed about my commute. Plus, having an hour off for lunch is nice. I've decided though that if they decide to hire me on full time, I'm moving closer to work. I'd rather live in Santa Clara anyways because their energy is cheaper. But, living near Campbell has its perks and I'm starting to get to know the area a little bit at least.
Right then. I vote it is time for me to take a big, long, fat nap, and then back to kitteny goodness. Yay!
