No longer a drop out!

I'm officially back in school!!!!

I'm only taking two classes, but they're both important classes, and it's just the right amount for me right now. I'm taking elementary algebra (again), but it's with a teacher who I know from personal experience is seriously awesome and I work really well with. I'm very excited about working with her. I'm also taking a unity of life biology course.

Four out of five days in the week, I'll be at school by nine in the morning! Ack!

The math class is only an hour long 9:15 to 10:15, three days a week. Works for me. I can then go to work straight from there, and put in some good hours before I get off at 4 (seeing as I normally get there by noon anyways!). The biology class is from noon to 1:15 on tuesdays and thursdays, except on Thursdays there's also a lab from 9:10 to 11:50. So I still have some good work time left in there.

Mom and I talked about it; I thought about taking a third class at first, but I realized that it would be overwhelming and I really, really need to get some good grades this semester. I really need to get excited about what I'm doing, and with all these bills I'm starting to get with telephone and internet and trips to california and what not, I need to keep working. So two is just right. The semester I took two classes was the semester I got straight A's. :)

So yeah.

I'm really happy with my decision. I'm happy with where I'm going in my life. I'm happy to be back in school. I was actually pretty worried I'd be a drop out there for a while, and it's a relief to know I'm not.

Also, I'm seriously pumped about my biology class! It's a new direction from what I normally take, but I really do like science. I'm an audio engineering major, after all!

Feeling that I have some sort of aim with things makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER.

Thank the baby Jesus. Seriously.

And now, I'm going to go sign up for internets for my apartment. Fuck yes. [edit: apparently not... customer service is only around from 7 to 9 pm M-F. Okay then. I'll do it tomorrow...]
