Yesterday I battled through the wind an the rain to go to a 45 signing in Orbital Comics, London.
:D
I got a copy and had it signed by Andi Ewington, the writer (who is lovely) and 5 artists :D
(Frazer Irving, Seb Antoniou (who really reminded me of someone but I don't know who lol), Andie Tong, Barry Spiers, and Steve Sampson (sadly Rufus Dayglo couldn't make it - his warehouse had flooded or something?!))
I also got 3 awesome free sketches. Seriously, these guys amaze me. They just draw something FUCKING AMAZING in like 10 minutes with no references or anything. I AM IN AWE.
Seb's sketch. I told him to surprise me with a DC character. He chose The Flash <3
Barry's sketch of Hellboy. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT'S SO AWESOME Y/Y?
I couldn't do this in 15 years, let alone 15 minutes.
Andie Tong's Kick-ass sketch! He drew it cos i mentioned that i went to see Kickass the day before (which was rather awesome) so he was all like 'Okay I'll draw Kick ass for you'. <3
