So I started writing this story...
...which has rapidly ballooned to 85 pages. It was supposed to be a long one-shot (maybe 20 pages max) and somehow it has turned into a massive reimagining of the second season. It's a "Vampire Diaries" fic (I blame you for this, leobrat) and is a super angsty character study of Elena (and by extension Katherine).
Would anyone be interested in reading some of it for me just to see if it's at all decent/not ooc/worth me wasting my time on?
Disclaimer depending on where you shipping tastes lie: there's explicit Elena/Stefan, Elena/Damon, Elena/Stefan/Damon, Stefan/Damon/Katherine, mentionings of other pairings and is essentially kind of a clusterfuck (or what I imagine TVD would be like on HBO).
