Oz = Elliot??? Yes, Yes he does

Hello there! I'm being a dork and analyzing PH again! :D
Well, for the most part I'm analyzing the relationships between Elliot & Leo and Oz & Gilbert. As far as I can see, they're so similar it's uncanny, for more reasons than just the master&servant relationship. Also, I had to scale the images a bit to conserve space and make them easier to ( Read more... )

I love when people overthing PH like me fufufu...

It fits, since if Reo is Glen and Oz is Jack, Oz will have to kill him in the end, just as Reo asked him to do if he were to hurt Elliot, remember? And Gil could get hurt trying to protect Oz from Reo's blade or something like that (Oh god, he was already stabbed in the back and in his chest, what's left? xD)

But you know... I just CAN'T see Elliot as Lacie, no matter what. Because Reo's feelings towards Elliot are much different than Glen's towards Lacie. His are darker and deeper, while Reo holds healthier ones and tries to avoid falling into darkness. So, here I throw my most mindfucking theory, dom dom dom:

I think both Oz and Elliot are Jack somehow... why?
Because remember what they said back ago? That Oz might not be the real Oz, since Zai could've exchanged the babies? Well... I think Elliot is the real Oz. I KNOW THAT THE AGE DIFFERENCE MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE, but well, time loops are Jun's speciality huh? Just think about it: Elliot being the only gentle one in the Nightray bloodline, his cat loving personality (Vessalius), and all the things you listed above that make him similar to Jack.

Now what about the looks? Oz has blond hair and green eyes, yeah, but... I think he could be Oscar's son, one they told him it died at birth... dunno, it still bugs me. And Elliot has blue eyes and sandy hair, but... we don't know how Oz's mother looked like, do we? And I'm sure Zai killed his own wife because a mother would always notice if her son is exchanged...

So well, big mindfuck...

And as a last point, I think all this Jack is not Oz thingy that they've tried to portrait means something. I think Oz was in the tragedy of Sabrie, as well as Gilbert and Alice, and that HE was the one that killed Alice. If you check retrace 59, you'll see that in some page there's a crying Alice from the past, who says "Oz". Not Jack, Oz.
And what about retrace 1? All that "I'll never forgive you" stuff? I always thought it was meant for Jack, but they are not THAT similar, so I think Alice did meant Oz when she tried to kill him in that vision.

I shut up now.

Oh, to clear things up, when I said that Oz = Jack, I was trying to simplify the parallels I was drawing. Not necessarily saying that they are one in the same. As a matter of fact, I think Oz was alive and kickin' 100 years ago before the Tragedy. And I must say, not only does your theory help mine, but it makes loads of sense. Did you read my discussion last chapter? Because we had big conversations about Oz and Alice and Sabrie and all that \currently experiencing dejavu\ XD
Though you cannot deny that the two are definitely meant to be points on comparison.

And because of the last chapter, I too think it was SO likely that Oz killed Alice. He didn't have those flashbacks for nothing.

But I have to disagree on one point: Leo's feelings for Elliot are far from healthy. NOTHING about that relationship was healthy. Normal kids don't act that way. And when Glen arrives, health goes away. At least, mental health does, anyway.

I've only been awake for, like, 20 minutes, so if none of that made sense, I'm sorry. Maybe I'll go back and edit it when I'm truly conscious.... Then again, maybe I won't. XD

Thank you very much for identifying yourself. Ufufufu~

I just had to reply about this... Now that you mention it, the whole Elli is the real Oz Vessalius makes sense O_o. Aside from the points you mentioned, there was also the time that Zai went to get Elli, completely shunning Oz during the encounter. I mean, it's been getting to me why Zai and Duke Nightray are so close. Aren't Nightrays and Vessalius people supposed to be enemies? Then why, of all people, would Duke Nightray give an alibi for Zai during Oz's coming-of-age ceremony? It makes so much sense it's scary O_O;;;
