Well today is the day. Unless it suddenly starts to rain, I will be leaving town sometime between 19:30 and 20:00, otherwise sometime around 18:00, as rain would cause my father's game to be cancelled. On the not so bright side, my lack of proper photo ID has put a minor hitch in my plans with Nicole, but we have now made plans for Saturday afternoon, so it's all good. And even better, I will be seeing Michelle as well, on Saturday night, so I'm rather pleased with my weekend plans. On another note, I got my severance check yesterday and I was quite pleased. It was almost twice as big as one of my normal 64 hour/two-week cheques. I also got an awesome letter of recommendation from my boss, which really surprised me, as I didn't think he had thought that highly of me. But whatever, I won't argue. To celebrate, I went and ordered the two V:tR books I had been planning on buying. I should get them late next week sometime, so I'm quite pleased with the speed of that as well. I also might be getting a camera soon, as this is the weekend we give my mother a new digital camera for her birthday to replace her old-school 35mm. So, I'm hoping to inheirit her old one, which would be pretty cool.
