Ugh, lack of sleep over the past few days equals one very tired Justin today. I was also incorrect on my statement regarding the Koivu injury. Although he has been released from the hospital, the extent of the injury is not known nor has he been cleared to play. On the bright side, even though they do not know for sure, it is believed the injury is not as serious as originally believed. So I went and applied at the Grill last night. It's a pretty nice place and I'm hoping to get hired there. I spoke with the manager for a while and we discussed my current job as well as my "potential" job. Then at around 7:30 I went to go watch the play my brother was in with a friend of mine. It was actually a lot better than I expected, although I'm convinced my brother was shafted because he got the smallest part in the play, yet some of the people with big parts just plain sucked. It did remind me how much I fucking hated high school though, I had to refrain myself from jumping up on stage and bitchslapping a few of the actors. I'm really pissed I never took acting during high school though; I wanted to, but took a few classes instead of it. Looking back, there are a few things I really wish I would have swapped, but oh well, life goes on. I'm determined to take a few acting classes up at Malaspina though. They even have a few courses for non-acting students, or in other words, students who are not pursuing acting as a primary focus. I have space for two electives next year, but I'm still debating over film studies and acting. Oh well, I have until June to make up my mind, although I'll probably go with whichever fits my timetable better. I can always take the other one the year after. I also have another tricky decision I must make, as I have a strong urge to write, although I have a few different story ideas floating around in my head. There's the modern rendition of Beauty & the Beast which I've done a rough outline for, one about finding yourself in post-sec, and one that involves musing whilst walking across a train trestle combined with lots of flashbacks. I suppose I could probably mesh the second and third one together, but I have completely different characters in mind. Oh well, maybe I'll just start by doing some character sketches and plot outlines and go from there.
