Finally got back online on a permanent basis, so I'm back on all of the IM networks again.
Settled in Mitcham near London, it's about 10 miles / 15 Km due south of the City. While the original plan of starting a new software distribution business has tanked, I've not given up hope.
I've found a new online business to get involved in, but need to come up with the funds first. there's plenty of cash left back in South Africa, but the intent was never to move those funds, rather to bring over funds with me, and use only those funds and further income generated to set myself up. Well, those funds are just about exhausted, and trouble's coming.
So, it looks like bar, waitron, or other such work is in store until such time as I can find a business that's interested in taking me on as a Microsoft server specialist, or perhaps a desktop support technician although I'd have a hard time justifying the step backwards.
Why did I choose the worst bloody time in a decade to uproot myself from a successful business and move to the UK... the country apparently hit hardest by the crap?
