Hi friends! I'm not dead, just been hella busy--I had a bunch of houseguests, caught a nasty cold, and my wife and I are closing on a HOUSE(!?!) this week. I have just found your translations, and to be honest, if I used a word like overjoyed right now, I would be sued by my feelings for gross misrepresentation (although LJ claims I already knew of the existence of this, but I swear I have no memory). I don't know if this would be heartening for you to hear or not, but I devoured the 4 books in 2 days with utter glee (praise the lord for summer)~

Thank you so much for taking the time out to translate this underappreciated yet brilliant series. As a person who was wrestling with the Chinese translation for this in a desperate attempt to just have *some* way of reading the novels, I'm sincerely grateful. The series, unfortunately, does not lend itself to someone with just middling comprehension, at least not the Chinese version.

Which brings me to my point (contrary to what my gushing would indicate, I do have one): the Chinese light novels for the series number 10, but all of the information I can find otherwise only mentions 4, with the 2 bessatsu ones as sequels. I was wondering if you knew where the disparity arose from? I could only think to ask you, since you seem to be the most knowledgeable.

Anyway, feel free to ignore my question if it seems stupid or you don't know. My previous gushing still remains~ I am intensely thankful for the translations you put out~ They seem very professional, and you have a brilliant flair for words which really really lends itself to an enjoyable read~ hope everything has been going smoothly for you ^u^
