I was thinking of getting a Vertical Labret piercing.. [if you don't know what that is, here are some links].

thing is, it would be my first proper piercing, which means that my first will probably be very painful >.< also, i'm having to spend hours looking into what to do, with the salt washes and things...
so, i need advice >.< what should i do? its all okayed with parents and mom says she'l go in with me so i can get it done and all that but...how long does it take to heal? anyone know?
and how long between me taking the barbell out and it healing up?...
