Week 1 1/2 and I am...tired already.

Oct 02, 2008 22:05

I've been standing up so much this week, and walking around so much that I'm really tired.

I've been trying to keep up and stay on task with my classes. Except art history (well, I take notes and listen in class but I refuse to open the text book and read it...but partly because I haven't bought it).

My intermediate painting class is going well...maybe. The teacher already knows my name. I seem to be on Jason's good side or well, he remembers who I am. He even called me "homie" when he left.

On Wednesday we're going to start with a 48x60 inch canvas. It'll crush me before I get to class I think...or not. I'm done with class at 11 a.m but I had a painting due on Monday already. So, I have to go in and work on that. After that, I told AJ I might be able to add music. There's also that Sholi show later that day.... hmmm.... why wont my digicam batteries love me?... I could use my cellphone but it wouldn't be the same...

I need new batteries for my digicam and... the camera phone is more discreet I guess.

I have a studio class everyday except Friday...and they all start at 1:10p.m. So during "lunch" I sit on the stairs between the 2nd and third floor and eat my bento or whatever I bring. Sometimes I think this makes me feel like a loner, but I just get shy eating with a bunch of people around me.

I found this when leaving class today. It was in the art building too! All I have to say is, "Kelllllllllllllllp!".

For my print making class I have to make two pages that are somehow linked together. This will be in a class book we're making.

"Align yourself with the history of early woodblock and broadsides and create an image that is a comment on political events, provides information on current events, highlights sensational events, tells a story, or even entertain us."

Here are some of my ideas:

(I would say it goes under events. Yes I was inspired by the "burning down the firehouse" article in KDViations.)

Telling a story? - Dino extinction D:

Because I do miss Gojira Happy Show, and I have a soft spot for Gojira (or dinos in general). I am even tempted to put a dino in that firehouse one.

I have till Tuesday to edit and redraw things or think of other ideas.

Well, I finished my homework awhile ago but had a chat with Kelp. It was nice hearing from her in a different time zone haha.

It's time for me to shower and sleep though because... I've been busy so I'm very tired.
