Kyoushiro set out from his apartment about an hour ago, wanting to make decent time in going to meet up with Kira. The walk wasn't especially long, which was nice, but there were still instances - despite being in Toshima for about a month, already - where he got turned around when trying to find his way. At least White Magnolia was a somewhat familiar place by now.

Although Kyoushiro didn't have a clue what Kira even looked like, the fact didn't bother him all that much. Turning back now would be pointless. Thankfully, upon reaching White Magnolia, a single head of blond hair was enough of a sign for Kyoushiro.

He approached the other before asking, "Kira Izuru?" Kyoushiro may have sounded hesitant at first, but it was of no importance. Despite the job his job back home (and even here), he still got a bit nervous when having to speak to people he didn't know.

"... just Kira is fine," The shinigami said - he visibly startled at the sound of his first name. He wasn't sure he was ready to hear it - it brought back too many memories. Whispers in the dark - cold hands on him, pulling him, guiding him.

He pushed the thoughts aside, giving a sheepish expression to the other. "It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise," Kyoushiro nodded once in return, glancing briefly to Kira. The flinch didn't go unnoticed by Kyoushiro, but bringing it to attention wasn't particularly in his interests.

Adjusting his scarf, Kyoushiro slid his hands into the pockets of the army green cargo pants he'd worn. "So, you wanted to see that used bookstore, right?" he asked, once they began walking.

"Yes... I am sorry for making you go to the trouble of coming all the way here," Kira said, following along a half-step behind Kyoushiro.

"If there's something I can do to repay you for your time... please don't hesitate to tell me."
