The lights in the major events stadium, while glowing pink and green around some odd edges, blasted pure white down onto the center stage of the one-on-one battlegrounds. All around the battlestage, people were crowded into the stands and shuffling, talking, cheering in anticipation. It had a very Ancient Rome sort of feel to it, as if everyone in the stands hungered for blood... and then, at once, Toshima's very own version of the Jumbotron lit-up with the visage of an overly well-kept, flashy blond man.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen! I am the host of the great death game Igura... GIACOMO!"
His voice echoed throughout the stadium, and a chorus of cheers and whoops erupted in the light that his flashing grin provided from the jumbo screens above. "You all know what you're here for... a battle of skill and of wills, between two of Igura's top-voted fighters! Both i-jin hailing from parts unknown, and both in possession of immense skill, only one of these men will be the victor today! Of course if both shall live, then both shall have the luxury of returning to the battleground at the end of the day... but only the victor may claim the tags that he likes, and only the VICTOR may enjoy the grand prize..." Giacomo gestured broadly, arms sweeping out past the aspect ratio of the Jumbo Screen.
"...Housing within the Downtown Area, in one of the finest new housing facilities we have to offer!"
Below, doors opened on opposing sides of the stadium stage, so that Sasuke and Hallelujah might enter the grounds. There had been plenty of time for good meals, rest, stretching and preparation... and now the battle was ready to begin.
"Now, without further ado... Let the Battle Begin!"
