[for Mark - backdated]

Her conversation with Maureen had bothered her more than Tosh liked to admit. The other woman seemed jealous, and rather proprietary over Mark, and Tosh wasn't sure she could blame her. They had been together for quite some time, only it seemed to Tosh that she only remembered how much she did care about Mark when someone else was involved.

No, that was unfair. It was her own defensiveness rising. After all, if Maureen made a concerted effort to win back Mark's affection, what chance did she have?

Trying to drive away those thoughts, she was likely understandably quiet as she put Jackson to bed that night. Asleep finally, she closed his door behind her, smiling tightly at Mark as she came into her own room. "He didn't want to go down."

mark, tosh
