Disappearances were never an easy thing to take, less so when they were someone close. Someone that had become both friend and family. There just seemed to be too much of it. Abby losing Eostre, Bridget and Dixon going, and now Ray.
She'd not learned of it til after her visit to Abby, likely a good thing, in retrospect. It was only that she hadn't seen him in a few days that she'd gone by the IPD office to ask after him. She should have noticed; it shouldn't have taken days for her to miss him. In fact, she wasn't even quite sure when they'd spoken last. Quick hellos in the hall, or the kitchen, but not a real conversation in a while. Always too busy, always something to be done, even here on this island where they searched for things to fill their time.
Jackson liked the rain, or at least he seemed to, squirming in the sling and ducking out to grab at drops from the edge of her umbrella. It would have made her smile if she wasn't reminded that Jackson wouldn't have a chance to know his godfather now. His plan to teach Jackson all variety of sport now gone.
Tosh wasn't ready to be alone quite yet. She turned, instead, to Ianto's hut, tapping lightly at his door. "Ianto?" she called his name softly, hoping that he was home.
