As I may have mentioned, one of my job perks is getting to take two books home at a time, for two weeks each, provided I return them undamaged.
As you may imagine, I've been taking advantage of this pretty constantly. But while I have no shortage of books I'm interested in reading, being in a bookstore has me thinking about how much more there is out there to be read.
So I'm throwing this open to you guys: Name some books you think I should read. Think I ought to be more familiar with Plato's Dialogues? Cool. Know a really good cookbook? Sounds great. They can be books you think I'd enjoy or books you think would smarten me up a bit. Whatever. Give me a title and an author, and if we carry it, I will read it.
(Currently I have Gail Carringer's Blameless and Carl Sandburg's Chicago Poems checked out)
