Beatles Rock Band
Last night I ran out after my evening class got out and picked up Beatles Rock Band. I just bought the game, figuring there had to be cheaper ways of getting instrumentation than the 250$ Limited Edition Collector Set. Luckily, I found a cheap copy of Guitar Hero World Tour for the Wii, which gives me the drums, mike, guitar, and Guitar Hero game for the same price as the generic instrument non-limited edition Beatles Rock Band.
Comparative pricing FTW.
It is an awesome game, with any luck, I can arrange some hangouts with other people so I can play with others. Though they'll need to have wiimotes... I still only have one, which means I can basically just play guitar or drums.
Getting to be social would be nice. I'm trying to set up lunches and stuff with people, because I don't see people if I don't schedule it in, and everyone keeps cancelling on me. I know it's nothing personal, just grad school, but one friend has had to cancel for the last three weeks, and another keeps rescheduling, and the dinner that was supposed to happen last week with some others (which I was the invitee to) just... didn't happen, with no word.
