so I graduated today.
or something like that.
ask me if it matters, I've been done for months, but this was when I turned the paperwork in. I also bought underwear.
Anyway.
Last night was amusing. Was talking to a girl from Turkey, and she was telling us stories. One story was about how she hears noises in her house at night when her roomates aren't there and must sit in the center of the house with a gun and shoot at the animals in the backyard. :) Yeah, really. She once shot a possum cause she got freaked out, but hte roomates were there then, called the cops, and the cops calmed her down because she was upset about killing something cute. Another story was about how when she was on her period at home her boyfriend, Jack, who is a carpenter, would tell her where the chocolate is and "go work." The punchline to this tale, that might not be a punchline, is that he has managed to build a two story house from this.
In the past couple days I've had two old women giving me advice that I didn't really want about relationships (as they are both kinda pathetic, older, alone, and have made shit tons of mistakes that have not been rectified I'm not particularly interested in it from them) and have found that my over whelming decision not to date at all and just deal with it has not changed, except one little part. And I just have to figure out how to make that one little part work. This done, I am much more content than I was.
Now that everything is done I'll be happy to be back downstate. Anybody that wants to hit Dave and Busters should get ahold of me to find out when we're going (anybody) and such. Tomorrow I hit the phone and get interviews. joy oh joy.
