Noted musician and ford truck advocate Toby Keith is opening a country theme resteraunt slash music venue in OKC tomorrow, and then one on Vegas next week. I used to feel bad that ol' toby was from OKC, but then I learned that he's actually from Moore, which kind of makes sense. Anyway, the resteraunt is going to be called, I shit you not, Toby

I was also reading something the other day where he was saying that he wrote that infamous "boot up yer ass" song about Afghanistan, and that he wouldn't've written it about Iraq... not that he's not still completely embarassing, just sayin'.

And woody guthrie is selling ethanol now? The 21st century makes less and less sense as it goes on.

i know! i thought he'd be a hardcore conservative republican. but according to the interview i read a few weeks ago, he's not. i think it was the answer to "what is one thing people don't know about you?" so weird.

and yeah, willie's pimping gasoline. there's a HUGE poster of him on the top of the carl's corner gas station to prove it. apparently, he owns the entire town, and they are going to build a huge fuel tower with an even bigger picture of willie on it. (i'm convinced this town just consists of the gas station.)
