So I'm in Kansas City right now. So far we're having a pretty good time, but that's not what I want to write about.
I was last in KC a few years ago when I was looking at art schools. I remember being really impressed with it- the plaza, the cool downtown, the hip neighborhoods, etc. Now, a couple of years later, it seems less impressive; very OKC esque. Don't get me wrong, it seems like a good town, but not better than OKC in any way that I care about. (I'm sure that not having a saks fifth avenue and california pizza kitchen nearby is important to some people, but not me) It used to be that any town with a good art museum and record stores was automatically better than OKC, but thankfully that's changed. Also you can't get Dr. Pepper in resteraunts here.
Anyway, today we're gonna go do some museums and whatnot.
