Medical complaints within.

My hands dry out after the abuse they get at work, being washed and thrust into dishwashers all day in hot weather. I put on hand lotion to remedy this. My hands promptly develop a heat rash as a result of wearing hand lotion in the sun. At this point, I think I'll go and whimper in a corner until the summer is over.

This is becoming an annual cycle, and I always forget about it completely until our first real spell of sunshine. Not that I could do anything about it if I remembered sooner. Whatever happens, my hands end up either dried out and scaly or sore and itchy. The human body is a beautiful thing.

You see, this is why I don't like the summer. It's full of dilemmas. Sleeping with the window open is another one. I get too warm if I don't, and I like hearing the town in the morning, but on the other hand I don't actually get any sleep because insects keep dive-bombing my face. One of these days I will put netting up over it. The window, not my face, although I suppose that would work too.

It's a good thing I've already been out to see Avengers as of this evening, if I am to put my inverted hibernation into effect. Finally, I understand 90% of the posts on my tumblr dashboard.
