I had a dream the other night. Jared and I decided to go skiing (I have never been skiing) and when we went there was a map and one of the sections said "For first time skiers" so of course I decided that is where I should go. The things that I remember about the skiing were:
I had one regular pole and one pole that was like a prosthetic leg for running, the ones that are all curved so that have more bounce.
I was skiing down a down escalator, but it didn't have steps it just traveled in waves, and there was no snow.
To get back up you had to run up a down escalator. You could choose between one that had steps, or one that also did the wave thing, but the one that did the waves had a gate at the top so you had to grab the railing and jump over the gate.
There was a guy at the top who was instructing me on how to position my feet, but I was really frustrated with the whole process. I felt that I wasn't really skiing, I was just standing as the escalator carried me down.
When I got to the bottom, I would slide off and turn sideways to stop myself, I felt like I was really a natural at this skiing thing, but for some reason I had to stay on this stupid escalator.
Anyway, that's what I remember from the dream.
