I Want My VH-1!

What the Hell?! I was watching VH-1's latest reincarnation of I Love the 80's, when the picture started getting sort of fuzzy and the colors were going all weird. At first I thought they were using low-quality video clips from 1981. Then I realized it was that way even in the interviews with Mo Rocca and Michael Ian Black and all those people were also looking like that. Then I thought it must be my TV starting to show its age. It is kind of old, and I have been flirting with the idea of buying a new (bigger!) one. So, then the screen just goes black. I'm thinking "Great, now my cable's out." But I changed channels, and the rest are coming in perfectly clear. So, for some reason I have lost VH-1. I would now be watching "I Love 1982: In 3-D" but for some reason I can't. I wonder if this is Time Warner's way of telling me "Get off your lazy ass and clean your apartment." Well ha ha to them, I will just write in my Live Journal. And I have DSL, not Road Runner, so they can't mess with that. Although my Internet connection has seemed a bit slower than usual later, don't know if that's because of the DSL line or my computer or what.

Zack Update: He is not feeling well today at all. Sunday he started not eating again, and then yesterday he was throwing up. And he was just not feeling like his normal self. Last night there was some sort of commotion outside my apartment, and he didn't even stir. Normally, he would have
been barking like crazy. (I later went out and figured out what had happened- someone dropped a 2 Liter Pepsi down the stairs, which broke, and there was Pepsi everywhere) This morning when I walked him, he didn't even really want to walk, and went really slow. I called the vet and got an appointment for the end of the day, and left work early to take him. The vet gave him some shots and new medicine to help him eat. I will take him back on Saturday for the appointment he already had scheduled. The vet didn't say what's wrong, but I have a feeling there are more tumors. Mike is back in Syracuse now, and will be in Charlotte next week, so he'll get to see him then. Unless something serious happens, and then he would try to get here sooner. Which hopefully will not be the case. I hope this new medicine helps a little. Poor little guy. He had trouble getting in and out of my car today, and he drools a lot. He's kind of like a little old man.

VH-1 is still not back on. I guess I could use this time to take out my garbage...

tv, zack
