Regular Normal Life Stuff
Ok, life's not all just cruises and burlesque shows. But wouldn't it be cool if it was? I made a new icon of me kissing the sting ray in Grand Cayman, though. These pictures were taken by a photographer who was on the tour, then downloaded them and sold CDs on the boat on the way back to the van. My mother is sending me a CD with all the pictures she took with her camera. Tonight on the Travel Channel I got to see the show where Samantha Brown goes to Sting Ray City.
The sunburn on my leg is getting to the peely stage. Yuck. And it itches. Tomorrow is the dermatologist appointment so I can get rid of a nasty skin tag on my boobie, and to look at a mole to make sure it's not suspicious. And of course the mole is right in the middle of sunburn central, so I will probably get yelled at for not taking better care of my skin.
Frank had 2 job interviews yesterday. Nothing as exciting as the porn company, though. I kind of like him being here during the day. Today the water to our neighborhood got turned off for a few hours, and it's back on now, but of course running brown until it cycles through. There was no notification or communication, so he called the HOA and found out what was going on, otherwise I would have had no idea. We used it as an excuse to go out to eat, though. We went for fried seafood at a place down the road called Captain's Galley. After we got back from dinner my next-door-neighbor came over to find out what the deal is with the water, so we stood and talked to her for awhile. It's probably the longest conversation I've had with a neighbor, ever. And really she & Frank did most of the talking.
It's being reported that Lost will run for 3 more seasons. I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand, I still like the show, and have enjoyed it since it started, but on the other hand...I just want to find out what the hell this island actually is and get on with my life. It's becoming too much of a commitment. Honestly, you have to remember every single tiny detail, because some guy who appears for 30 seconds in one episode comes back a year later and turns out to be involved with 3 different characters' lives. I'd heard an earlier rumor that next season would be the last, which turned out to be untrue, but would have been a lot better for me.
I better get my Mother's Day cards ready to go in tomorrow's mail... (one for my mom, plus two grandmothers)
