Swim Therapy

Jun 01, 2009 21:13

I am having all these weird mysterious pains lately, mostly in my lower back, and where my right leg joins my hip. Tonight I thought it might feel nice to go in the pool. I've lived in this development for 3 years and had never been to the pool. And my theory was correct, it did feel good. I don't really swim, exactly, but all the leg kicking and that sort of thing felt nice. And now that I'm home everything's pretty much back to its uncomfortable state.

When we got back I put a status update on Facebook about having gone to the pool. Then Frank & I were talking about Facebook. He's been using it longer (he started when it was still students-only and he was in school), but I have more friends. Then I said I have some "friends" who I don't really know. When people send me add requests, I usually give them the benefit of the doubt and add them, especially if we have a lot of friends in common, but then they just sort of blend into my friends list and I don't really find out who they are. Frank said he doesn't have anyone like that. And mere minutes after that conversation, one of these mystery friends posted a comment to my status update. My display name on Facebook includes my former last name, Kimberley, so people from the past can find me. In the comment she called me "Kim." So yeah, maybe I've been a bit liberal in my Facebook friending policy.

I got Counting Crows tickets today! The fan club pre-sales opened for the Charlotte date. I used the super sekrit code (let me know if you want it and you can buy tickets early- public on-sale is Friday) and got tickets right down in front of the stage- whoo-hoo!

I think I'm gonna go lay downstairs with the heating pad for a little bit.
