Home from the Cruise
We are home. I am happy to be back with my kitties, but otherwise would love to return to the ship, or any other ship, really! The Norwegian Sky was great. It was formerly the Pride of Aloha, doing Hawaii-only routes, and got re-assigned and re-named, but still has the Hawaiian theme throughout the ship. I loved the NCL Freestyle concept, and am definitely considering "jumping ship" (LOL) from Carnival for future cruises. We stayed on the ship most of the time- didn't get off in Freeport, got off just for a few hours in Nassau, and out stop at Stirrup Cay was canceled due to high winds (too windy to operate the tenders). But it was fun- we ate, went to shows, played trivia, napped (I was still recovering from last weekend!).
I will write more later, I just came up to check my e-mail/Facebook/Twitter/etc, but I really want to go back downstairs and watch Lost- we haven't seen Wednesday's episode yet- it's on DVR. And I'm hungry, so I will see if there's any food I can scrounge up until we go grocery shopping tomorrow. We haven't even unpacked yet. At least I have 2 days before going back to work. We'll have to do laundry tomorrow or Sunday. Yes, a cruise is definitely more fun than real life!
