Well, that was interesting. Torael Delar Dusksinger, you WERE keeping a secret from me. I'm so proud.
This evening saw me at Light's Hope, finishing a courier job. As I was coming out of the chapel, I heard someone say my brother's name. As it turns out, it was someone mistaking me for him, someone very... interesting. Turns out that death knight my dear brother told me about before he vanished has survived the re-emergence of Deathwing, albeit somewhat worse for wear with a couple of broken bones. Now that I've seen this hunter, I understand what caught my twin's eye. The face on that man is rather devastating even with, or, maybe because of the scars and that ghostly eye. I wonder if he lost it before he died? The first time, I mean.
Spending an evening talking to him has only made my fascination worse. Rather bluntly honest, which I rather appreciate after all the honey-tongued backbiting of my fellow students at the Spire.
And... I fear I'll sound like a silly mooncalfing girl, but... there's something... wounded about him. It's all to do with this lost loved one he says Tori and I resemble, I'm certain. It rouses the same blasted... caretaker feelings that had Torael sneaking money and supplies to the orphanage so the Matron wouldn't know her mysterious benefactor was a rogue and one of those damn flighty magic-addict elves.
Which reminds me... all the new Cenarion posts that are springing up are proving to be almost a godsend. The druids have been quite kind enough to allow me to meditate by their Moonwells, I really should go back and offer more assistance as repayment.
The Overgrowth in the Barrens has an abundance of ambient magic as well, but it's raw, wild stuff, tainted in places with something dark. I would only draw on it in direst need.
Note: Get hair cut as soon as I get back to Undercity. Long hair on the road is proving to be more trouble than it's wor
