Yesterday... I don't even know where to start... got up early to go pay my respects to my parents, then back home to watch Spooky sleep for a while. I'm a late riser, so it's kind of a treat to watch him wake up.

Anyway, day started off good. Messenger from the auction house brought by the earnings from the last batch of ore I'd put up, so I headed out to hunt up more. I was in Ratch, talking to one of my contacts when the goblin took one look over my shoulder (well, okay, past my belt), turned a pastel seafoam green, and split. I turned to see what could spook a goblin, and I'm pretty sure my chin kissed gravel.

There were fire elementals pouring out of a weird... hole in the air. They weren't all that strong, but there were a lot of them. I hopped a windrider for Orgrimmar, thinking I'd better report this to somebody, but when I got there, I got the feeling they already knew. The flight past the pig farms outside the city revealed a whole lot of activity, people setting up tents and running around, and from the looks of things, I didn't think they'd decided to bring back Brewfest.

City was in a state of mild chaos, with weirdo fanatics on every corner spouting a whole lot of stuff about the end of the world. Ran into Tyr down in the drag. We found out through a little sneaky leg work that these wild-eyed fanatic freaks were planting what amounted to elemental bombs in the city, AND that the attacks weren't confined to Durotar and the Barrens.

I didn't want to leave him. I didn't. But Korethael hadn't come back to Silvermoon yet, and the stubborn little jackass is the only family I got left. I had to find him before things went south any further. Tyr needed to go pump his dead relations for whatever information he could get, and the sooner the better.

I made him promise to take care of himself before we split up, but fel, I'll feel better once I'm where I can keep my eyes on him again. He's adamant he can take care of himself, but where do you go when the earth itself turns against you?
