There are a lot of interesting things in the Internet. And this archive will enrich it more. Of course not each jeweller works in the expertise field, but I think no jewellers will refuse to have near at hand such a catalogue of hallmarks at least from former Soviet Union territory.
Such a catalogue arouses respect by its content and emotional effect. I’m telling about the attitude of the society to the profession of jeweller and the role of jewellers in the Civilization progress.
Yea, really when listing the catalogue involuntarily you are being filled with respect to those small signs with a master signature on jewellery. The master is gone long ago, but the member of him is still exists.
And how many family jewelleries do you have? What kind of hallmarks are there? Imagine to yourself how you will be sorry if your unique, antique jewelleries, which you have from your grand-ma, have junk hallmarks.
