Above is a link to the calendar I wrote up for potential rehearsals for the Senior Play (A Delicate Balance.) Remember guys, NOTHING is set in stone. Let's just keep our fingers crossed.
Tomorrow I'll be meeting with the assistant principal of the middle school again, Mr. Mulhern, and Ms. Coleman will be joining us. Hopefully Joe didn't discourage her from being our advisor.
A few people want me to try to get Skenyon to be our advisor, but I'm kind of scared of him... I know, sad lol. I would try if a couple of people came with me. I know he'd say no anyway.
The next step is to hold the auditions. There have already been announcements for them- they are on the 27th and 28th, from 9am-12pm at the middle school auditorium.
Tomorrow I will be scan the monologues to be read at the auditions. Then I need to read this play about five more times. I will definately be consulting Skenyon on his interpretation/analysis of the work, because he offered.
I still need to ask Joe if this play can be advertised as under the KP Drama "umbrella." I'm so very afraid. I know he's very angry that I'm even trying to do this.
But I'm a very all or nothing person. If the administration or any of the faculty does not want me to do this, then fine- just tell me! Don't let me get my hopes up. I'm starting to get hopeful, and it's NOT GOOD.
