These classes were for mortal, human girls. Torunn sat through them, serious and focused, but doubtful of their relevance to a true warrior such as herself. There was a lesson to learn the anatomy and weaknesses of Magical Beasts, and the strategies used to vanquish such foes. The history lessons were more interesting, and often touched upon the tactics used by various warlords in the many battles of the Multiverse. The rest seldom held the Asgardian's interest, even if they did keep her attention.
Instead, she yearned for battle. These lessons now over for the day, Torunn struck out immediately for the Slayer's Field to once again prove her worth in combat. It was a relief to shed her Midgardian uniform in favor of a plain white T-shirt and black denim jeans, and she sought to soon clad herself in armor as well. For just beyond the locker room and showers was another area - an equipment room filled with the various weapons used by the Slayers in their classes and the armor that students would don to protect themselves during such brutal lessons.
The Asgardian carried herself like a trained soldier. And like a soldier, she stood there inspecting each item with a critical eye to judge the equipment that was provided and to find a suit of armor which would suit her well in the glorious combat to come.
((OOC: This was better the first two times I wrote this, before LJ decided to not only eat but feast upon my posts...)) *shakes fist*
