Jamestowne Show Review from March 4th, 2005
1. Coeptus (Midland, MI)- They played first for about 7 ppl. They put on an awesome show. It sucked that no one was there. They have strong vocals and great bass lines to boot. You should check these guys out when they play next.
2. The Final Chapter (Lansing, MI??) - Despite their bad attitudes they played a good set. The vocals weren't bad and I remember liking there drum beats a lot. The drummer is a totally awesome guy and he cares about what he is doing.
3. For The Fallen Dreams (Lansing, MI) - Wow. Great fucking band. They really put on a good show. I was very impressed. Their music was very complimentary to all the insturmental parts.
4. Onyxlovemagnet (Saginaw, MI) - I am so happy that they found a great vocalist. He adds flavor to their music. I really liked xChadx on vocals but I am really liking the new vocalist a bit more. I love when these guys play because they set a nice mood to the place. More peeps from our hometown need to support these guys.
5. Know Lyfe (Lansing, MI) - Dude, these guys are great. Alfonso has strong vocals and he really jumps around and you can't help but like their music even if you don't. Mst ppl know that I am not into metal or hardcore that much but these guys are good. I expect good things from them.
6. Summer Dying (Lansing, MI) - It is so sad to see these guys go because they know how to rock. A lot of ppl should be stabbing themselves for missing the show last night. All of these guys have heart and it shows in their music. I know that everyone could feel that. It's important to be captivated by the music. These guys know how to do that.
All in all the show was a success. The turnout wasn't great but it didn't matter. I am thankful to the true fans that came out to support.
