i am a showoff

Now that my room is somewhat in order (I kind of filled up the bins. Twice.) I decided to take some photos of my games before everything gets messy again, so have some new pictures of everything, except for DDR X because it decided to arrive just after I finished taking all the photos.

Timeframe of collection: I've had my DS for four years, Wii for 2.5 years, PSP since June last year and PS2 and PS3 since October oops, November, so the collections have mostly built up over those periods of time, although I really only started buying large numbers of games maybe about a year ago? I was buying games here and there before that but most of my money went to Pokemon, I've been trying to cut back on buying Pokemon stuff a bit lately.

The DS stuff is my biggest collection:

I really need to find a bigger shelf for them >_< These days I import most of my DS games, as I really prefer the black cases - the games I have in white cases annoy me as they don't match everything else or fit the shelves as well, and I'm trying to trade them for black cased ones.

The one on the top of the left hand pile is Desktop Tower Defense, I think everything else is readable. Edit: The flashed out green horizontal one is Clubhouse Games.

Next up, GB/C/A games, boxed:

"Perla" is a romhack hikaizer bought me in China as a joke present. I have lots of Golden Suns because they're srs bsns. (I already have a second copy of Dark Dawn on the way, and haven't touched the first one yet.)

Here's the cart-only games I have (some have manuals too, but they're stored in a box):

The Digimon game is a bootleg I bought from snowball21 (hey Matt, if you're around you never got back to me about that refund), Pokemon Yellow is a real cart with a fake sticker because sharnofshade bought it for me preowned and it didn't have a sticker, so she made me a sticker for it.

Wii games:

Gamecube games:

I have two copies of Donkey Konga because I wound up with an Australian copy and a UK copy, and couldn't decide which one to keep (they have different cover art). The small case with no slipcover or spine is the Gameboy Player startup disc.

Eternal Darkness isn't there because Paul borrowed it to play.

There's a couple of 360 games there too. I made my Paul buy a 360 (I didn't want to buy one as I'd just bought a PS3), so I buy games to play on his. I left Dance Central at his place, so that's missing from the photo.

Side note: Skies of Arcadia spine comes out really badly in photos.

Moving onto the Sony stuff, here's my small PS3 collection:

The spineless game is an NTSC copy of Eternal Sonata. The girl I bought it from threw away her cases to save space D: I'm thinking of just buying a complete PAL copy to replace it, since it's proving difficult to find the insert alone (even eBay only has a 360 one). PSN cases are just taking up space, I'll put them away as spares once I have more games to put there.

My PSP collection is asymptoting, I bought a ton of games at first but my list of wanted games has shrunk to just a few now, and I suspect a few might be hardish to get.

Here's most of my PS2 games. I say most, because just when I'd finally taken photos of everything, I opened my mail and DDR X had arrived. It doesn't get to be in the photos till next time. Sorry, DDR X! It's your fault for not coming sooner.

I have a whole two PS1 games. Soon it will be 3! I haven't even really looked into them yet, I need to compile a wishlist.

Just some miscellaneous stuff that's kept in a box upstairs, since I don't have room in my bedroom:

Here's a photo with some of the stuff that's blocking taken off the top:

Okay, that's it for now \o/ I couldn't be bothered doing accessories this time.

buying things i don't really need, gaming
