Oh no...

So disgusting--and yet, somehow, so believable. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1815509,00.html?cnn=yes

I don't know what I've been up to lately; what have you been up to? I've just been working full-time at the ol' firm. That's about it. I hate working all the time. I feel like my life just blows out the door everyday.

I've been reading "Underground" by Haruki Murakami. It's a nonfiction book about the Tokyo subway sarin gas attacks in 1995. A cult set off all this poison gas in the subway that killed many and injured hundreds. Pretty terrifying. I always get the creeps when I ride subways anyway. If anything bad happened, everyone would be so helpless.

I've been watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 on the Learning Channel a whole bunch lately. It's not the type of show I would imagine myself watching, but I love it. The kids are so cute, and I've never liked kids.

I got a speeding ticket on my birthday; 37 in a 25 in a TN state park. What a douchebunkle. That's my first ticket ever. Why couldn't it have been for something dangerous, like driving 120 in a 50, whilst naked? There's something inherently depressing about getting my first traffic violation for driving 37 mph.

Itsumi and I finally saw our apartment on which we signed a blind lease, and thankfully, we actually like it. We'll be living with a bunch of undergrads, but maybe since all the apartments are 1 BR it won't be so loud. We're just glad that we'll finally have a normal-sized kitchen and *gasp* more than one closet! The only downside at the moment is that Bryant Dr. is torn to pieces; I barely found the way to the apartment complex, as it is on Bryant Dr. I hope they finish it soon.
